Yesterday I handed out invitations for our New Beginnings program. We've decided to go with a RAINBOW theme. I've been pinning ALL THINGS 'ROYGBV' all over pinterest lately. I'm {sorta} obsessed.
So cute!! Wish I had seen these 2 days ago. I needed a cute rainbow invitation for our New Beginnings as well. I never found one I loved online, so had to come up with my own. These are way cuter!!
Thanks!! I found the suckers at a local candy shop here in AZ called Sweeties. They were about 40 cents a sucker. My counselor is actually incharge of the program....I know we are having a skit based on the value colors....a song.....some speakers. I can let you know more if you'd like once it's all over since I don't know the final details. We have it on Tuesday!
Yes, I would love to know what you did. One of my Laurels are going to take charge over this so that she can pass off a personal progress goal, so I am just trying to help her come up with some ideas. I will have to search for the suckers here in UT. So Cute! You are so talented!!! I love everything you make.
@Sorensen's I haven't see those suckers, but I know there is a company in Provo that sells rainbow suckers. They are more lollipop style and then have the rainbow colors around the edge. A lot of people call them "value suckers" because they work perfectly for this. The company is Startups, they make the suckers that you find at Sundance, Brick Oven, Pebbles in My Pocket, and I'm sure quite a few other places.
Here is a link to their website, if you scroll down this page a little bit to "jumbo pops" you will see the suckers I'm talking about. (It isn't a great picture though) http://www.startupcandy.com/candy.html
I would love to know what your program was as well- mindylsmith@hotmail.com We are having our new beginnings in March and are using the rainbow theme too. Great invitations!
CUTE...CUTE...CUTE! Love it! I know this is probably so not proper to ask...but what did you budget/spend for your New Beginnings? Looks amazing...and I am sure the girls LOVED it!
We are looking for ideas for 2013 new beginnings. Would you mind telling me what you guys did? ((Refresh........) I just found your site and you are amazing! Thank you.lisagarm@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteHi this is such a cute idea! How were you able to change the the colors to the font?
ReplyDeleteYou just highlight each individual letter...one at a time...and go to font and pick your color. Hope that helps! xoxo
